Naskart Indoor Racing

Racing League Info

 

1.                  There will be a random draw format for each kart on all races. Racer does not have the right to pick his kart.

2.                  Driver’s karts will be separated by 3 seconds from one another while exiting the pit.

3.                  Races will be started over if computer malfunctions.

4.                  No more than 8 karts will race at one time.

5.                  Race points will be allocated by time of finish for that race.

6.                  This league is all about fun!

7.                  Trophies will be awarded to division winners thru third place in each division.

8.                  Racers are required to maintain a 3 week payment advance through out the tournament.

9.                  Leagues will last 10 weeks plus elimination.

10.              You must have a license before league starts.

11.              The track will always remain slick in some areas.

12.              League racers can practice race anytime between Mondays – Thursday for $5.00 per race with league card.

13.              Point system is as follows:

16 points for 1st place.

14 points for 2nd place.

12 points for 3rd place.

10 points for 4th place.

8 points for 5th place.

6 points for 6th place.

4 points for 7th place.

2 points for 8th place.

       15.       Each driver must have 3 races per league night.

You must show license to drive fast or turbo or take road test for a non-refundable $10 fee

Races will start over if computer malfunctions, unless 4 laps have been completed (this will count as a full race)

RULES

 

  1. No yelling at track personnel
  2. No confrontations will fellow racers.
  3. Rough riding will not be tolerated.
  4. No talking on cell phone while racing.
  5. No eating while racing.
  6. The race is about time, so please respect your fellow drivers if you make a mistake. Just let them pass if necessary.
  7. Throw out your two slowest weeks.  Best 8 out of 10 weeks count.
  8. There will be no driver/race substitutes.

MOST IMPORTANT RULES:

 

  1. BEING PASSED- ONCE A KART HAS CAUGHT AND TAPPED THE BACK OF YOUR KART, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY MOVE TO THE RIGHT AND ALLOW SAID RACER TO PASS YOU. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN A THREE POINT DEDUCTION!

****NOTE THAT ONLY AFTER ONE LAP MAY YOU TRY TO REPASS BY THE SAME TAP RULE.

  1. PASSING KARTS- CATCH THE KART IN FRONT OF YOU AND TAP THE BACK BUMPER ONCE. SAID KARTS MUST MOVE OVER AND ALLOW YOU TO PASS. BE CAREFUL PASSING ON CORNERS. IF YOU SPIN THAT KART, YOU WILL LOSE 3 POINTS, SO TAPPING AT CORNERS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

****NOTE THAT SAID KART MAY TRY AND PASS YOU BACK AFTER ONE LAP FROM POINT OF PASS.
